The Milwaukee-GAPA currently meets once a month on the THIRD Wednesday of each month. Meetings are held at Mader's Restaurant located in downtown Milwaukee at 1041 N. Old World Third St., unless otherwise noted. MEETING DATES AND VENUES DO CHANGE, so please contact a board member, or check the website here for any updates. Meetings are open to all GAPA members and all are encouraged to attend. Meetings begin at 8:00pm. Valet off-street parking is available, as well as metered parking. My apologies to all who went to Von Trier's for January's meeting. That was an error on my part.
The Pickelhaube has returned home!! A great time was had by all at our Annual Brewers/Cubs outing with our Chicago GAPA brothers and sisters! tHE BREWERS won and we were ablt to get the trophy back for another year. What is that they say about the Cubs, "Wait 'til next year?" Go BREWERS!!

Coming up on March 3, 2012, YOUR Milwaukee GAPA will be hosting a table at an event called GERMANY UNDER GLASS at the Milwaukee County Domes. It's like a mini, one day German Fest. Mark your calendars!
Mark your calendars for March 30, 2012. Milwaukee GAPA at the Admirals hockey game. Meet at OGBH at 5:30pm, game is at 7pm. Contact Kevin Wilke for tickets.
April 13, 2012 is our fish fry at lakefrony Brewery. Times are 5:30 for dinner with the tour to follow.
Chicago GAPA Mai Fest is fast approaching. Dates are set for May 31 thru June 3. Bartenders and security guards are always needed.

Germanfest is July 26-29, 2012 this year. Please mark your calendars and plan to march in the parade!

Mike Nowotny has decided to vacate his director seat. In the interim, Rich Graber has been appointed to take his place Pro Temp. However, if you are interested in becoming a GAPA board member, please contact Peter Graber before the next regular meeting. If needed, we will hold a special election to fill the spot.
August 22, 2012 is the date for the annual Brewers/Cubs Tailgate. Because of the G-8 summit being held in Chicago, we had to pick a weekday this year for the game. PLEASE CONTACT PETE GRABER ASAP FOR TICKETS/TICKETS RESERVATIONS. TICKET PRICES WENT UP A LITTLE THIS YEAR BECAUSE OF THE COST OF BEER. $60 PER PERSON WILL COVER YOUR TICKET AND FOOD AND BEER.
