Our Christmas Dinner at Mader's was once again a great gathering. It's always good to see the family, spouses and others that don't usually make the monthly meetings. Thanks to our Entertainment Chairman Pete Graber for putting together a memorable event. He always seems to be able to find some great items as door prizes, including the "HofBrau" print that hangs in a place of honor at "SchlossFischer". And "Vielen Dank" to all the sponsors who donate prizes for the dinner.
We also honored outgoing Chicago GAPA president Rory Trausch and his wife Linda. Rory has been a great help in our getting up to speed as an organization. And to Linda, a healthy and happy retirement after a long career with the Chicago PD.
This coming year holds a lot of promise for Milwaukee GAPA. We will be participating in the "Germany Under Glass" at the Milwaukee County Domes, Saturday, March 3rd. Our "Kulture Kommandant" Mike Novotny is working with Pete Graber and we can expect an interesting display.
Director Kevin Wilke has put together an Admirals Hockey Game outing. Check the announcements page for more information.
We also welcome two new Directors this year, Pat Scalise and Todd Kaul. Roll up those sleeves! And our thanks to outgoing Directors Don Dinkleman and Mark Wagner.
